We offer a wide range of firesaftey courses in North Wales, and the North West of England. Our courses including Fire risk management, Fire marshal/warden, Residential / nursing care staff training and Workplace fire awareness. Any additional tailor made fire safety training courses can be arranged upon request.
Residential and Nursing Care Homes
SYLLABUS
Raising the alarm, action to be taken when alarm operates, calling and liaising with the fire service, evacuation procedures and principals, fire protection measures in the premises. fire development, fire hazards, human behavior, practical use of a fire blanket, use and limitations of fire extinguishers.
Suitable for staff in Residential care Premises, Nursing Homes and Hospitals.
DURATION 2 x 1hr courses (6 months apart)
COST includes certificates.
We also undertake additional advanced courses including practical evacuation for night staff and key day staff.
Workplace Fire Awareness
SYLLABUS
Legislation, raising the alarm, action to be taken when alarm operates, calling and liaising with the fire service, means of escape, evacuation procedures, fire protection measures in the premises, fire development, fire hazards, human behavior, use and limitations of fire extinguishers.
Suitable for staff in factories, offices, Shops, Hotels.
DURATION 1 ½ -2 hrs (courses tailor made for each customer)
COST includes certificates.
Fire Marshal / Warden
SYLLABUS
Legislation, fire science, fire reality and hazards, principals of means of escape, duties of fire marshals, human behavior, basic fire prevention, evacuation procedures and principals, fire drills, staff training, liaising with the fire service, crowd control, use and limitations of fire extinguishers.
Suitable for staff who require additional knowledge to fulfil the role of a fire marshall.
DURATION 3 - 4 hours (courses tailor made for each customer)
COST includes certificates and course notes.
Fire Risk Management
SYLLABUS
Legislation, fire science, fire development and hazards, basic fire prevention, principles of means of escape, human behavior, principals of risk assessment, recording assessment, practical assessment session.
Suitable for persons who have a responsibility for fire risk assessments and a basic knowledge of fire safety.
DURATION: Fire Risk Management courses can run from 1 day up to 5 days dependant on the clients needs also the number and experience of the candidates.
COST includes certificate and course notes.
